I am very far from you, but yesterday I had the opportunity to have you so close and help me very much. I am a belly dance teacher here in Palma de Mallorca, Spain( I have a small centre dedicated exclusively for this wonderful art). I consider myself a "beginner " in all this stuff of having a school and the responsibility of what it means.
Well, I have had some healthy problems during these 2 last weeks and confess that psychologically I was feeling really bad. But the "responsibility of having a school" made me come back to work and prepare the classes and I decided to see some videos and I saw "Aziza Raks" for some minutes. It was enough to make me feel completely different, happy with my old energy again , creative and although I still have to give my classes sit on a chair ( sometimes I stand up, because I can stay so many hours. this way ) I feel different , I really do it..
To see your smile was a gift and I am sure is a GIFT in any circumstances... ALWAYS! GOD BLESS YOU; AZIZA!

your interaction with everyone is just wonderful. You're a warm and very friendly person and the fact that you really understand what 'being' in class feels like adds a wonderful dimension to your teaching style. I really love how you break down combinations. Your descriptions of moves and steps are precious and make me laugh. Because of that I'm sure I remember a lot more than I otherwise would. Well I wanted to make sure that I take the time to give you this warm fuzzy. You are truly a great instructor and beautiful performer and I am honored to have been able to be a part of your class. Just got home and wanted to thank you all again for the amazing gifts you gave our audience tonight. MEDA is completely run off the power of volunteers like yourself, and by sharing your performances with other dancers, you help to create the momentum of enthusiasm and inspiration that creates our community. I've had the honor of emceeing many shows in my time, and can honestly say that this was one of my personal favorites thanks to the consistent quality of professionalism, both on-stage and off, exhibited by the performers. Please pass my sincere thanks on to all troupe members. Tonight was a true celebration of our dance form, and I was thrilled to have been a part of the evening.

Just wanted to write and tell you how much I enjoyed the workshops that you did at the Phoenix Centre recently. In retrospect I wish I had thrown caution, and bank balance, to the wind and booked the Sunday sessions as well. I wouldn't have been very alert for them but it still would have been worth it to watch and take notes. A friend of mine who did go to the Sundays sessions said they were the best she had been to, hopefully she will be able to remember some of what she did and show the rest of our group.
Your performances on Saturday were also amazing - the routine with the 'bewitched' veil was mesmerizing and I love the belt you wore in the second half. I hope you enjoyed teaching us as much a we enjoyed learning from you and it isn't too long before come back for more workshops.

I just wanted to write and say that I think you're THE loveliest cabaret dancer that I've seen! I absolutely love your style -- concise, and subtle and joyful…..!!! I got the "On Fire" dvd a couple of months ago and after skipping half the performances on the dvd (I won't say whose performances!), I found myself watching your two performances over and over and over and over……… in slow motion……. frame by frame!!! You're just exquisite. :-) I have heard that you will be doing a workshop in Chicago in October -- I certainly hope this will happen, I will gladly drive 7 hours to get there! I hear your workshops are TOUGH! but I'm looking forward to it very much. Sadly I'm getting old and I'm out of shape, but still a pretty good dancer who would benefit greatly from your teaching.
